One of the first things babies learn to do as they grow, is to grasp objects and explore them to see what they do. Stimulating this interest is the first stage towards encouraging a love of discovery and learning. It also supports hand/eye coordination (motor skills).
Another key stage of early development is a baby's use of the mouth to explore - the mouth is very sensitive and adept at helping baby to understand texture, shape and function. It is therefore important that early toys are safe to be put in the mouth, sucked and chewed.
This range of first grasping toys is made from high quality wood, mainly maple. They are specially designed to enable our babies to use and develop all their senses to explore - holding, observing and being able to safely put them in their mouths.
These are sustainable, environmentally-friendly European manufactured products, EN71 and US ASTM safety tested.
